Sana’a Reaching out to Humanitarian Organization Amid Improving the Healthcare Situation in Yemen

The Secretary General of the Supreme Council for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Abdulmohsen Tawoos, met Tuesday with the Vice-President of the Swiss MSF William Kirker. The meeting discussed issues related to improving the healthcare situation and the mechanism of intervention to ensure that health and humanitarian needs are met.
Tawoos stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation and developing joint mechanisms of work between the Council and the organization in the humanitarian field, in order to overcome the challenges facing the health sector and reduce the suffering of patients.
He also stressed Sana’a readiness to overcome the difficulties facing the organization to carry out its humanitarian and health tasks to the fullest. William Kirker stressed the readiness of MSF to provide support in the health side to contribute to the provision of integrated health services.
