YPC Discredited News of US-Saudi coalition Releasing Detained Oil Tankers

The Yemeni Petroleum Company discredited on Tuesday the the news that has been circulating about the release of oil derivatives tankers held at sea, stressing that the US-Saudi coalition is still practicing its arbitrary actions. The YPC pointed out that some media, affiliated to the mercenaries of coalition, is lying about the release of 10 detained oil tankers. “It is a desperate attempt to mislead local and international public opinion,” pointing out that the crime of detention of oil derivatives ships by the coalition and their mercenaries has become the talk of the whole world and the place of universal, popular and official condemnation.

The company confirmed that 11 oil ships are still being held at sea by the coalition and their mercenaries for more than 60 days, pointing out that the total quantities loaded on board the detained ships exceed 93,000 tons of gasoline and 170,000 tons of diesel. The company also pointed out that all vital sectors are at risk of stopping the provision of services that directly affect the lives of civilians, blaming the United Nations and the international community for all the catastrophic effects resulting from the determination and intransigence of the aggression coalition in the detention of oil derivatives tankers.

The Yemeni Petroleum Company called on the United Nations and the international community to take serious action to prevent the catastrophe and to pressure the coalition to immediately release all detained ships.
