WFP faces new scandal in Aden

The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) on Sunday distributed an expired biscuit to students in a number of government schools in the southern city of Aden, sources reported.

 

According citizens, the biscuit, whose expires after one month, was distributed to students in a number of schools in Enmaa city, amid fears that the biscuits may cause food poisoning to students.

 

It is considered a new scandal for WFP, as the program has already distributed many expired food items in a number of Yemeni provinces over the past months.
