Large numbers of “shrimp” die in Mukalla shores

The coasts of Mukalla city in Hadramout province, southeast Yemen, have witnessed the death of large numbers of shrimps.

The dead shrimp spread along al-Sitteen coast of the city, forcing the coast goers to leave.

Activists in social media websites explained that the death of shrimp comes as a result of the failed project implemented by the province authority to discharge sewage to the sea.
