9 civilians killed, 6 injured in 37 Saudi airstrikes, attacks on Yemen in a single day
At least nine civilians were killed, including children, and six wounded when the Saudi-led coalition waged over 37 airstrikes and ground attacks on several governorates of Yemen over the last 24 hours, according to summarized reports on Tuesday.
In the northern governorate of Saada, seven family-members were killed, including five children, and five others seriously injured when the coalition warplanes launched a raid on their home in Masaebah area of Sohar district.
At the same district, a man and his pregnant wife were killed in an airstrike which targeted their homes in Azqule area, while a civilian from Razih district sustained injuries by Saudi border guards’ fire.
To continue with Saada, four airstrikes hit Mahadha area, two on Sabr valley of Sohar district, and five air raids struck Sahda bordering district.
In Razih bordering district of Saada, the warplanes launched two raids on Ghmar and Shabaan areas, and three on Aal-Ali area.
In Dhaher district based in Saada, the US-backed Saudi aircraft conducted six raids on Mahahidh , Manzalah and Hasamah areas.
Meanwhile, artillery and missile forces of the Saudi forces shelled Munabeh district, Ghur area of Ghamer district, as well as the western areas of Munabeh bordering district.
In the capital Sana’a, the Saudi fighter jets waged two airstrikes on the state television station, damaging the building and the nearby civilian homes and shops.
In Jawf governorate, warplanes launched six air strikes on Subla and Utemah areas in Kub-washaaf district.
In Taiz governorate, artillery of the Saudi-paid militias targeted the University of Science in Sala district, leading to material damage.
In Jizan bordering governorate, the US-backed warplanes waged five strikes on Tuliq, Qanbura and Ahmed-Salman mountains.
