Iranian FM: Countries Who Support Coalition Are Complicit In Its Crimes And Should Be Deemed Responsible
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Mousavi severely condemned recent Saudi-led air raids on Yemen’s capital of Sana’a on Thursday which claimed of 77 of civilians, including children.
In a Friday statement, Mousavi expressed sympathy to the families of victims, urging the international community to shoulder their responsibility for the Yemeni crisis and to prevent such crimes by any means.
Countries who support Saudi-led coalition by providing weapons are complicit in the crime and should be deemed responsible, he highlighted.
The Ministry of Public Health and Population, on Thursday, announced that the victims’ toll in the coalition’s strike on a residential neighborhood, in Sana’a, reached 77 killed and injured. The Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakil, called on residents of the capital to donate blood.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Yousef Al-Hadhri, said that “after the full recovery of the victims from under the rubble the final toll ha reached 77 killed and wounded.” Al-Hadhri said that the number of killed reached 6, 4 children from one family and two men, while the number of injured reached 71, including 27 children, 17 women and 27 men.
Ansarullah spokesman said that “the standards used by the world with the situation in Yemen are barbaric standards and not humanitarian, and we do not expect anything from a world governed by hypocrisy.”
