FM calls United Nations to pressure on other party to carry out Sweden’s agreement
SANAA, March. 9 (YPA) – Yemen’s Foreign Ministry on Saturday called the United Nations to pressure on the Saudi-led coalition-backed other party to carry out Sweden’s agreement in Hodeidah province.
The ministry in a statement said that” the other party is trying to hinder the UN-brokered agreement and carry out other demands exerted by instructions of Britain, which continues to mislead British people to continue in suspicious deals with coalitions’ states associated with terrorism and involved in the war crimes in Yemen.
“The British people should know that its government’s interests and deals are being achieved by shedding the Yemeni blood and starving and besieging 27 million Yemenis in flagrant violations towards the international and human law, the statement added.”
The statement said the British government’s policies and stances backing the coalition that kill children and women and destroy Yemen do not serve international peace and security.
