The continuation of the systematic destruction of the infrastructure by the coalition countries through the bombing of vital installations, where the aircraft launched the Saudi-UAE-US alliance on Friday, December 8, 2017, an air strike on Yemen’s satellite channel, which led to the destruction.
We are in the civil society for development and freedoms. We condemn this crime, which is in the process of blocking the freedom of opinion and press and media work, by targeting the Yemen satellite channel and removing it from service. Also, several media institutions were subjected to destruction and indiscriminate bombing during the air raids of the Saudi- And the international legitimacy of human rights, in addition to the exposure of media institutions to withhold and disrupt artificial satellites Nilesat and Arabsat without legal justification in violation of the freedom of broadcasting and the right to express and receive information.
We emphasize that this deliberate targeting of media organizations reflects only the ugly face and criminal intentions of the coalition countries and their blatant defiance of all international conventions and laws that consider the commission of such violations within the scope of their legal characterization as war crimes.
We also call on international organizations concerned with the rights of journalists to take the necessary measures to put an end to and condemn these violations against journalists, media institutions and press freedoms in Yemen.
We call for the formation of an independent international commission of inquiry into all violations against Yemeni media, which have led to the suspension of many press organizations and the reduction of the culture of impunity towards those involved in spreading the discourse of hatred, incitement and truth-making.
In conclusion, we call upon the honorable and free people of the world to express solidarity with the Yemeni people and to expose the crimes perpetrated by the coalition countries against innocent civilians, including crimes, massacres and genocide, in light of this shameful and shameful silence on the international and international system
