The crimes committed by the UAE forces in southern Yemen, that the UAE forces and its paid fighters countenus torture and liquidation operations in prisons and detention centers, which includes thousands of detainees against them.
Thousands of citizens in the south are subjected to humiliation and torture by the UAE forces and their paid fighters, and this is only one of hundreds of crimes against Yemenis .
Secret documents revealed that as many as 23 Yemeni detainees had been executed in secret prisons run by the UAE in the southern Yemeni city of Aden, according to a Qatari newspaper, Al-Khaleej Online.
In a letter sent by detainees at Bir Ahmed Prison to Hadi’s Interior Minister Ahmed Al-Maisari said the prisoners had been killed in Shallal, Abu Al-Yamamah, Saleh Al-Sayyid, Yasran, Bir Ahmed Al-Qadim and Mansoura prisons.
In another hand-written document, the detainees also identified 23 missing persons in these prisons. Twenty-six detainees from the so-called National Army and Popular Resistance Forces were detained in Bir Ahmed prison, showing their military numbers. The detainees explained that they had been on hunger strike for four weeks without getting any response. They hold the UAE responsible for what was happening to them because UAE soldiers are in control these prisoners.
The organizing committee of peaceful sit-in of people of Mahra province renewed its rejection of setting up any points or camps belonging to Saudi occupation forces on the territory of the province.
The Saudi forces continue to violate the national sovereignty of Yemen by creating military barracks in a number of the province districts,” said the committee in a statement issued on Monday.
The third military zone belonging to the coalition in Ma’rib province decided to not pay the salaries of soldiers of the Second Infantry Brigade, which is believed to be loyal to the UAE force.
The move came after the brigade’s leadership refused orders of the third region command of the Saudi-led coalition, to attach two battalions of Ma’rib to the second major infantry brigade which is deployed in Shabwah province.
The ambitions of the coalition become apparent in southern provinces like Al-Mahra, Socatra, Aden, Hadramout and others, said the head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi.
“Those who stand in the enemy’s side are today terrorist groups and some of their leaders have a well-known history in recruiting and attracting extremists, engaging them in hostile operations against the homeland, its interests and its development and economic capabilities,” he said.
In March 2015, the US -backed –Saudi-led coalition started a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.
Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
More than 2,200 others have died of cholera, and the crisis has triggered what the United Nations has described as the world’s worst humanitarian disaster.
However, Saudi Arabia relies heavily on the US in its brutal war on Yemen. Washington has deployed a commando force on the Arab kingdom’s border with Yemen to help destroy arms belonging to Yemen’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement. Washington has also provided logistical support and aerial refueling.
