ACF condemns US aggression targeting Great Prophet Hospital in Sa’ada
The AntiCancer Fund condemned the US aggression’s targeting of the Great Prophet Hospital for cancer patients in Sa’ada province.
In a statement received , the center said that the US aggression committed a heinous crime by targeting the Great Prophet Hospital, which was in the final stages of preparation to be a treatment reference for hundreds of cancer patients in Sa’ada and neighboring provinces.
It pointed out that he condemned in the strongest terms this crime, which reveals the true face of the United States, which claims to protect human rights while committing the most heinous crimes against vulnerable peoples.
The statement pointed out that the US aggression launched 13 deliberate raids on the hospital, destroying large parts of it and causing catastrophic damage to its vital facilities, depriving hundreds of patients of treatment amid tragic health conditions.
He stated that this crime is not isolated, but comes within a systematic US plan that has been targeting the Yemeni people for years through brutal bombing and suffocating blockade, which led to the worsening of health conditions and the spread of deadly diseases, especially cancer, which has spread due to the use of internationally banned weapons since 2015.
The statement condemned the US administration’s justifications for this dirty crime, which are nothing but shameless lies, as the criminal US President Trump claimed that the attacks targeted “bases that threaten maritime navigation,” but the truth that cannot be hidden is that the bombing targeted civilian objects and a medical facility dedicated to treating cancer patients, in blatant defiance of international laws and disregard for humanitarian covenants.
