UN Coordinates to Break the Siege on Yemen’s Airport Only for its Staff

A new A320 aircraft of the United Nations, came from Oman, arrived at Sanaa International Airport on Sunday.

The aircraft was contracted by the United Nations to work in transporting its staff and delegations and other international organizations, indicating that all facilities were provided to the plane and its crew.

The crew of the plane expressed their satisfaction with the first trip to Sanaa and the hospitality at Sanaa International Airport.

They explained that the technical and ground services at Sanaa Airport are distinct and in accordance with the conditions applicable in all international airports, pointing out that Sanaa airport and is technically ready and security.

The United Nations aircraft will operate three flights a week in Oman / Sanaa / Oman, for the World Food Program, which confirms the readiness of the airport technically, security and administratively according to international requirements and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Yemen’s humanitarian crisis is the most important story in the world, but because its victims are poor and practically invisible to the rest of the world their stories are mostly unheard and then ignored even when they are told.

As the Saudi-led coalition disrupts supplies of food and other necessary items, including medical equipment, through the sea, land and air blockade.
