Meeting discusses empowering targeted by National Begging Program

A meeting chaired by the Executive Director of the National Program to Address the Phenomenon of Begging, Yasser Sharafuddin, discussed the mechanism of absorbing female trainees in the field of sewing targeted by the National Program to Address the Phenomenon of Begging.

At the meeting, which was attended by the director of projects at the Orphan Foundation, Ammar Al-Ruqaihi, and included a number of factory owners in the Capital . The executive director of the program pointed out the importance of factory owners adopting the beneficiaries of the sewing training implemented by the Orphan Foundation.

He pointed out that the trainees underwent life skills training, training in the field of sewing, partial and full apprenticeship, and reintegration into society by empowering them to work in factories.

Sharafuddin stressed the importance of coordination between the national program, the Orphan Foundation, and the owners of the factories to enable those targeted by the training program in the factories to work according to their abilities and develop their skills in the field of sewing, evaluation and continuous follow-up.
