JMP Condemns Zionist Aggression Against Lebanon, Calls for Unity, Resistance

The Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) strongly condemned the ongoing and escalating Zionist aggression against Lebanon, which has resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds, alongside violations of Lebanese sovereignty, in an act of Zionist corruption rarely seen.

In a statement issued on Monday, the JMP affirmed that the criminal escalation by the Zionist enemy, with Western support and an American green light to target the Lebanese and Palestinian people, demands a serious response from the nations of the region and free people worldwide. They urged efforts to put an end to Zionist crimes, which have persisted in Gaza for nearly a year and are now expanding into Lebanon.

The statement emphasized that what will stop this usurping enemy and hasten its defeat is not so-called “peace negotiations,” but rather jihad, preparation, unity, and large-scale mobilization to confront the Zionist entity on all fronts until it is decisively defeated and expelled from the occupied lands of Palestine.

Yemeni Scholars Hold US Responsible for  Zionist Crimes in Lebanon, Urge Arab-Islamic Uprising:

The Association of Yemeni Scholars also condemned the Zionist enemy’s crimes against the Lebanese people and the targeting of villages and civilian homes in southern Lebanon.

The Yemeni scholars held America responsible for these massacres, as it is the protector, supporter, and arms supplier of the enemy entity. They called on the Arab and Islamic nations to rise up alongside the honorable mujahideen in Gaza, Palestine, Lebanon, and the support fronts in Iraq and Yemen.

The Israeli regime’s warplanes have conducted extensive airstrikes against towns and villages across Lebanon, killing at least 274 people.

Lebanon’s health minister Firass Abiad announced the death toll on Monday, saying martyrs included 21 children, 39 women and two medics.

Earlier, the country’s health ministry said at least 1024 others had also been wounded in the attacks that targeted the areas earlier in the day.

The casualties included “children, women, and emergency workers,” it added, noting that the numbers were provisional.

The country’s media outlets said the aircraft had bombed all the towns and villages lying on the southern border as well as their surroundings.

Israeli warplanes also reportedly targeted eastern Lebanese areas, including the Bekaa Valley.

Lebanese sources said the airstrikes had targeted a total of more than 40 areas in Lebanon during the attacks.

Israeli media outlets, meanwhile, alleged that the attacks had hit locations lying as far as 125 kilometers (77 miles) inside the Lebanese territory.

Israeli military spokesman Danieh Hagari said the regime “will engage in [more] extensive and precise strikes” against Lebanon, adding that the attacks would “go on for the near future.”

The regime has markedly intensified its attacks against the country since October 7, when it launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement has responded with numerous strikes against the occupied Palestinian territories as means of both retaliating against the regime and displaying support for the war-hit Gazans.
