Citizen Killed, Two Others Injured by Explosive Remnants of US-Saudi Aggression in Al-Jawf

A citizen was killed and two others injured, Sunday, by explosive remnants of US-Saudi aggression in Al-Jawf Governorate.

Almasirah Net correspondent in the governorate reported that a citizen was killed and two others injured as a result of the explosion of US-Saudi aggression in Al-Ghail District.

On Wednesday, ateenager was killed by explosive remnants of the US-Saudi aggression in the province of Hodeidah.

Last week, two citizens were killed, and a third was injured in an explosion of a remnant from the aggression in the village of Al-Sharaf Al-Aala in the same district.

The Mine Action Center has recorded a large number of casualties during the past period due to the obstinacy of the aggression forces, which do not allow the entry of mine clearance devices to cleanse cluster bombs and mines in Yemen, amid international silence and complicity.

Numerous regions in Yemen’s governorates have been subjected to bombardment by the US-Saudi aggression using cluster bombs. Many of these internationally prohibited munitions still lie scattered among farms and roads, resulting in dozens of victims.

The toll of cluster bomb victims has surpassed 25,000 civilians since the onset of the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen.

Landmines and remnants of aggression forces that were planted during their occupation continue to pose threats to residents in various district areas, particularly farms and roads.

According to official statistics, nine governorates in Yemen have witnessed 2,500 cluster bomb raids, including destructive, phosphorous, and piercing bombs, with notable mentions being US CBU-87 bombs, British BL755 bombs, and Brazilian ASTROS II bombs.
