A child was injured, Saturday, as a result of a raid by the US-Saudi aggression on Sa’adah Governorate.
Al-Masirah Net’s correspondent in the governorate reported that a child was injured as a result of a shell being dropped by Saudi enemy aircraft on the Al-Ghor area in Ghamr border district.
Yemeni officials released a statement detailing the impact of Saudi attacks on the country’s border regions throughout 2023.
Director of Razeh Rural Hospital, Dr. Abdullah Masra, confirmed that casualties resulting from Saudi shelling in these border districts numbered 518, comprising 64 fatalities and 454 wounded individuals.
Masra highlighted the daily influx of cases, averaging at least 150 daily from these border regions, citing the extreme pressure and challenges compounded by the coalition blockade.
On his part, the official in charge of medical facilities in the Shada border district Salem Mufarrah, noted the reception of over 50 deceased and 250 injured individuals during the same period.
The Sa’adah province border areas continuously face attacks, including missile and artillery shelling, and deliberate targeting of civilians by the Saudi forces, in light of the absence of any international or UN action.
