YMU condemns crime of targeting journalists west of Khan Yunis
The Yemeni Media Union condemned the crime committed by the Zionist enemy today against journalists in the west of Khan Yunis in Palestine, Killing journalists Mustafa Thuraya and Hamza Al-Dahdouh, son of colleague Wael Al-Dahdouh.
In a statement, a copy of which was received by Saba, the Union considered the continuation of crimes against journalists as clear evidence of the Israeli enemy’s intention to target them directly and intentionally, as this crime is not the first to target a group of journalists located in areas considered safe, far from military areas or confrontation areas.
The statement indicated that this targeting confirms that the Zionist enemy seeks to conceal the genocide it is committing against the people of Gaza in particular and Palestine in general.
He called on all international activities and organizations concerned with freedom of opinion and expression to declare solidarity with journalists and media professionals in Gaza and to criminalize the Israeli enemy and prosecute him through international courts in implementation of the laws and protocols concerned with the right to protection and freedom of expression in areas of conflict and war.
