YMU condemns targeting Al-Darwish by Israeli enemy
The Yemeni Media Union (YMU) renewed its condemnation of the Israeli enemy’s targeting media professionals in Gaza Strip, the most recent of which was the bombing a place where Palestinian media personality Abdullah Darwish was located, which led to his martyrdom.
A statement issued by the Executive Office of the Union – received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) – indicated that the Zionist enemy is still targeting media professionals in Gaza Strip, thus trying to terrorize media professionals and reduce their presence in the places it targets, killing hundreds of martyrs.
The statement pointed out that Al-Darwish is considered 48th among the media professionals who were martyred since the start of the aggression on Gaza, on the seventh of last October.
YMU denounced the international silence regarding the crimes and genocidal war committed by the enemy against civilians, media professionals, and residential neighborhoods in Palestine, stressing its support for the Palestinians with all available capabilities.
It also renewed the call to all media professionals in various countries of the world, humanitarian, human rights, media organizations and institutions, to stand with Palestinian media professionals, condemn crimes targeting media professionals , journalists, and put pressure on the Zionist enemy to stop its aggression against Gaza.
That claimed the lives of more than 16,000 martyrs, including more than 6,000 children, more than 4,000 women, while the number of wounded reached more than 36,000 and over109 martyrs since the end of the truce.
