Human Rights condemns campaign of restrictions imposed by some European countries on those who stand in solidarity with Palestinian people

The Ministry of Human Rights condemned on Sunday in the strongest terms the campaign of harassment and persecution by the French, German, British and some European countries of political and civil activities in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

In a statement, a copy of which was received by Saba, the Ministry of Human Rights denounced preventing activists from expressing their solidarity with the Palestinian people and the residents of Gaza regarding the violations and crimes against humanity by the Zionist enemy entity.

She denounced the continued American incitement to kill Palestinian women and children, stressing that Britain’s threats to use force against protesters and the French authorities’ practiced are the worst types of repression against demonstrators and vigils, arresting dozens and suppressing them with batons, wastewater cannons and tear gas, imposing fines and threatening them with deportation and physical liquidation. Evidence that confirms the truth of those regimes and the falsity of the claims of human rights, freedom of expression, and their right to peaceful protests and demonstrations that they claim.

The statement condemned the open support of America, France and Britain for the massacres committed by the Zionist occupation forces in Gaza as a result of the continuous bombardment of the besieged Strip from the air, sea and land, including more than four thousand tons of bombs, including internationally banned ones that completely destroyed residential neighborhoods, hospitals, health centers, places of worship, ambulances, and killed It wounded thousands of women, children and the elderly in cold blood, cut off water, electricity and fuel supplies, and committed massacres and brutal acts of destruction that devastate humanity.

The Ministry of Human Rights considered the forced deportation of civilians committed by the occupation forces to be a deliberate and planned measure that could be described as a war crime, and those responsible must be held accountable before the International Criminal Court, in line with the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 and its Additional Protocols, which prohibit mass displacement.

It called on the international community, especially the signatory parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention, to intervene urgently and effectively and take concrete steps that would stop the killing and starvation operations, prevent an imminent humanitarian catastrophe, provide international protection for civilians, and ensure the flow of medical, relief and fuel supplies to the population to limit the accelerating deterioration of the humanitarian situation on the ground.

The statement also called on the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, in accordance with the Rome Statute, to investigate Zionist crimes, especially targeting homes and killing entire families, and to prosecute and hold accountable everyone who carried out or ordered the commission of these crimes.

The Ministry of Human Rights launched a humanitarian appeal to the free people of the world and its human rights and humanitarian organizations and bodies for effective solidarity with the Palestinian people, holding the Zionist enemy and the American and European governments fully responsible for the crimes against humanity committed by the brutal enemy against the Palestinian people, which are considered major war crimes.

The Ministry of Human Rights reiterated that rights will not be subject to statute of limitations, and the leaders of the Zionist enemy, planners, executors, and those involved in the war of human genocide against the Palestinian people will be prosecuted in the international criminal courts to receive just punishment.

The statement pointed out the legitimacy of defending the just Palestinian cause, restoring the rights of the Palestinian people, liberating their land from the occupying Zionists, and protecting Jerusalem and the holy sites from the desecration of the invading settlers and the Judaization operations.
