Al-Dailami meets program officer in Women’s Protection Cluster at UNICEF

Human Rights Minister in the caretaker government, Ali Al-Dailami, met today the Program Officer in the Women’s Protection Cluster at UNICEF, Tülay Güler.

During the meeting, the Minister of Human Rights in the caretaker government stressed the importance of women’s active role in society, especially after the aggression and their consideration as a major partner in the development process.

Al-Dailami referred to the directives of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council and their praise of the role of Yemeni women in the most difficult stages that the country went through.

For her part,Tülay stressed the importance of focusing on protecting women, as they are the weakest groups in society and most affected by war.

She expressed her willingness to cooperate with actors in Yemen to focus on the main issues of Yemeni women.
