Statement of condemnation regarding the targeting of the aviation alliance for Sana’a airport and the destruction of the navigation system

As a continuation of the systematic destruction of the infrastructure carried out by the coalition countries through the bombing of vital installations, where aircraft launched the Saudi Emirates American alliance on Tuesday morning, November 14, 2017, an air strike on Sanaa airport, It targeted the navigational guidance system, which led to the destruction completely.

We in the Civil Coalition for Development and Freedoms, we condemn this crime, which comes in the context of closing the siege on the Yemeni people, through the comprehensive and systematic destruction of Sana’a Airport and its removal from service, so that the humanitarian relief missions of the United Nations and international organizations in Sana’a cease.

We emphasize that this targeting of the only air outlet through which relief aid reaches citizens in the northern governorates, reflects only the ugly face and criminal intentions of the coalition countries, and its blatant defiance of all international conventions and laws which considers the commission of such violations within the scope of its legal characterization as war crimes.

We also hold the United Nations, the international community and all international human rights organizations, to hasten pressure on the coalition countries to stop this unjust war and lifting the siege that is causes the Yemeni people the most severe humanitarian disasters at all, and opening all outlets to enter of food and medicine for this people, who reeling on the edges of famine, his children die from diseases and epidemics, unless all are considered partners in the siege and the death of Yemenis.

In conclusion, we call upon the honorable and free people of the world to express their solidarity with the Yemeni people and their support for breaking this unjust embargo, which violates all laws, and expose committed by the coalition countries against innocent civilians from crimes, massacres and genocide, in the shadow of this shameful and disgraceful silence of the international and international system.
