Foreign Minister: We hope there will be cooperation between Yemen & BRICS group

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Engineer Hisham Sharaf, sent a written message to the Minister of International Relations and International Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, Naledi Pandor, congratulating her on the occasion of her country’s presidency of the 15th session of the BRICS summit, which will be held during the period 22-24 August 2023 AD.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his wishes for the success of the summit’s work because of its benefit to the international public interest in the multiplicity of international poles that will contribute significantly to achieving the goals of sustainable development and the growth of the world’s countries, especially developing countries.

He pointed out that the Republic of Yemen is closely following the important developments that accompanied the work of the BRICS group during the past years, expressing the hope that there will be cooperation between the Republic of Yemen and the BRICS group in the post-aggression stage.
