69 Dead, Wounded in Saudi Attacks on Border Areas of Sa’adah

Nine people were killed and 60 others were injured in Saudi attacks during the month of Dhu al-Hijjah 1444 on the border areas of Sa’adah Governorate.

According to statistics issued by the provincial police, the attacks of the US-Saudi aggression on the Yemeni border, during the past month, amounted to 66 attacks, including 42 Saudi ground bombardments, two air strikes, and 22 shootings from the Saudi border guards.

The statistics indicated that the shooting by the Saudi border guards resulted in the death of five civilians, and the injury of 18 others. The ground artillery bombardment resulted in the death of four civilians and the wounding of 42 citizens, most of whom were seriously injured.

The forces of the US-Saudi aggression continue their attacks on the border areas despite the period of truce and calm. It resulted in hundreds of deaths and wounded, not to mention the massive material damage to public and private facilities, housing and property.
