UN Siding with US, Says Road to Peace in Yemen Long and Difficult
With the passage of more than 3000 days of the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen, with its brutal crimes and unfair blockade, which caused the worst humanitarian catastrophe in the world, the UN representative Hans Grundberg made new statements in which he said that the road to peace is going to be long and difficult.
The portrayal of the solution as long and difficult reflects the lumbering movement of the UN to help reach peace and its failed experience years ago. Whoever stands today unable to implement humanitarian issues first that will positively effected other more complicated issue,s is unable to reach a comprehensive peace solution.
What raises suspicion in the statements of the UN representative is his repeated description of what is happening in Yemen. He says the the solution comes from Yemenis in explicit bias with the countries of the aggression coalition and a clear deviation from the supposed neutrality from principles and charters of the UN in resolving conflicts, and a clear fallacy of the reality.
