Sana’a Accuses UN of Immoral Misuse of the Suffering of Yemenis

The Ministry of Human Rights held, Monday, a symposium marking the passage of 3000 days of national steadfastness in the face of US-Saudi aggression and siege.

Member of political bureau of Ansarullah, Ali Alqahoum, confirmed that the problem of Yemen is an external problem as a result of external ambitions in the Yemeni geography with its strategic location.

He considered that the position of the United Nations is shameful, and it is far from what is happening in Yemen in terms of crimes and siege.

He made it clear that the position of the leadership and the people is firm in the direction of peace with humanitarian demands and the US-Saudi aggression is trying to overcome these demands.

The Secretary-General of the Motherhood and Childhood Council, Akhlaq Al-Shami, explained that more than 10 million children suffer from aggression, and nearly six million children are at risk of dropping out of education as a result of the aggression and siege.

“It is not possible to understand the background of the US-Saudi aggression in the present unless it is linked to the past with Tanumah, the killing of Al-Hamdi, and previous events,” Amin Al-Ghaish, a professor of political science at Sana’a University, said.

He pointed out that the political and security equations in the region have completely changed, and this is one of the main results of eight years of Yemeni steadfastness.

Economic expert Rashid Al-Haddad explained that the economic war preceded the military aggression with a cold war that began decades before the aggression and turned into a blatant war with the military aggression with direct economic strikes.

The Minister of Human Rights, Ali Al-Dailami, affirmed that the UN system deliberately invested immorally in the suffering of the Yemenis, and that its envoys contented themselves with useless reports and issued resolutions of “American and British content.”

Minister Al-Dailami indicated that America and Britain had formed an international cover to the brutal crimes of the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen.

He pointed out that the humanitarian and relief aspect in Yemen has become a pressure card used by the US-Saudi aggression whenever it wish, and linked it to political conditions for the donors.

For his part, the president Al-Mashat stressed that the US and UK are the ones who put obstacles in the way of all attempts to bring peace to Yemen.

He pointed out that whenever there is any understanding between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, the US rushes to send its envoy to the region, and all efforts fail.

“The US role in the aggression and siege on Yemen and the thwarting of peace efforts confirms that it is behind all its suffering, and that it always seeks to continue the war, fighting any efforts for peace,” president Al-Mashat said.

“We are ready for peace or war, and the US-Saudi aggression chooses the path it wants, as we are in the position of legitimate defense of our country, our freedom and our independence,” he said.
