Sanaa releases 85 prisoners
Sanaa government released on Sunday 85 prisoners, who did not commit crimes related to honor, blood or drugs, on the first day of the joint visit of the Attorney General and the ministry of Interior to pretrial prisons in the capital, Sana’a.
Attorney General Judge Dr. Mohammed Al-Dailami told media outlets that in implementation of the directives of the Sayyed Abdul-Malik and President Al-Mashat, the prison inspection program will be extended to the governorates to help those who fell into conflict with the law for the first time.
He pointed out that prisoners for the first-time pending trials in non-serious cases will be submitted to the Supreme Judicial Council to speed up their trials.
