Yemen’s Currency Suffers New Collapse in Saudi-UAE Occupied Governorates
In the southern governorates, Yemen’s currency is witnessing a new collapse in its value against the foreign currency.
In this regard, economists warned against exploiting rumors of a “severe crisis in cash money” in the areas controlled by the Saudi-backed government, to justify any decision to print a new cash block.
Experts wondered about the fate of the huge monetary block printed by the mercenary government recently, and unilaterally for monetary groups that circulate only in their regions, and where did they go, amid accusations that they are behind rumors about a cash crisis.
It should be noted that the exchange rate in Sana’a is still maintaining its stability, as one dollar in Sana’a is equal to 533 Yemeni riyals.
The Saudi-backed government continues to take economic measures that directly affect the service and living conditions of the Yemeni People, especially in the southern regions, and exacerbate their disastrous suffering as a result of the US-Saudi siege and aggression.
In April, a politician in the pro-aggression government, Ahmed Saleh Al-Eisi revealed the corruption of his government, including the sale of oil wells to foreign companies, in addition to selling a large part of the communications sector to an Emirati company.
The corruption of the Saudi-UAE mercenaries is taking place with the support of the coalition. Saudi Arabia and the UAE have been constantly covering the corruption of the gangs that have been working with them since 2015. This coverage doubled when the aggression reduced the money that was given to its tools during the past years.
Aden and southern governorates are witnessing security chaos, and almost daily crimes, under the control of the forces of US-Saudi aggression and Saudi-Emirati occupation. They witness an increase in assassinations involving military security leaders, religious and social tendencies, kidnapping, bombings and clashes between militants fighting for influence among them.
