The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Sunday that Paris has begun evacuating its diplomats and nationals from Sudan.
The French Foreign Ministry said that the evacuations would include nationals from other allied countries.
This comes after the United States announced the evacuation of its embassy staff and their families, this morning from Sudan.
In the same context, the Swedish Parliament decided in an emergency meeting today, Sunday, to send an armed force estimated at 400 soldiers to Sudan to help evacuate the Swedes from there, according to the Swedish News Agency.
