Militias of Islah Party Attacked, Arrested Family Not on Military Front in Marib

Honorable Sheikh from Marib governorate confirmed on Sunday that the Al Al-Amir had been attacked by the Islah militias while they were not on a military front.

“We hoped that the release of the Al Al-Amir would take place through mediations that were held tribally and not to be released through the Red Cross,” Sheikh Ali Abboud said to Al-Masirah.

He explained that the Islah militia also deliberately violated the sanctity of the martyr Suba’yan in Marib and burned him in his house.

He added that tribal efforts and mediations were repeated to release the Al Al-Amir over a period of four years, until the leadership in Sana’a intervened to release them. He expressed his thanks to the revolutionary and political leadership who took the initiative to merge the names of this family while they were not on a war front.

The militias of the Islah party attacked homes and properties of the Al Al-Amir in 2019, wreaking havoc, killing its people, and arresting the rest of them.
