Yemen’s political parties call on UN to lift siege on Syria

Yemen’s political parties and components held the United Nations fully responsible for the exacerbation of the suffering of the Syrian people as a result of the devastating earthquake and the continuation of the unjust siege.

They called for immediate and serious action to lift the siege imposed on the Syrian people, whose continuation is a crime of genocide against the Syrian human being and all humanity.

The parties referred to the extent of the catastrophe that the earthquake inflicted on the Syrian and Turkish peoples, and the resulting human tragedy that exceeded all expectations and doubled the suffering of the Syrian people.

They pointed out that while Syria was engaged in relief work and searching for survivors, the Zionist occupation entity launched an air aggression targeting residential neighborhoods in Damascus, which constitutes an explicit threat to peace and security in the region.

The parties called on UN to move with the force of international law to put an end to this tragedy that exacerbates the suffering of the Syrian people, to work to end the US siege imposed on them, to work to return all the resources of the Syrian people and to end the occupation of their lands.
