Shura Council discusses obstacles facing technical education
The Shura Council, chaired by Muhammad Hussein Al-Aidarous, held a joint meeting on Sunday to discuss a number of issues concerning technical education and vocational training.
Some of the problems and difficulties experienced by the ministry, institutes, and community colleges with regard to curricula, absorptive capacity, operational capacity, and the overlap of specializations with a number of relevant authorities were reviewed in the meeting.
The meeting stressed the need to work to find and establish an appropriate environment to prepare a qualified human cadre that meets the needs of the labor market and the requirements of the current and upcoming stages in various development and industrial fields.
At the meeting, the Shura Council Speaker stressed the importance of technical education and vocational training in supporting the national economy and industry.
