Israeli occupation navy forces on Friday targeted Palestinian fishermen offshore the northern besieged Gaza Strip, Palestinian media reported.
According to WAFA News Agency, fishermen were sailing offshore al-Waha and al-Sudaniya areas as well as Beit Lahya town when Israeli naval boats opened heavy machine gunfire toward them, forcing them to flee for their safety.
No casualties were reported.
It is noteworthy that the boats of the Zionist enemy attack fishermen on a daily basis, and prevent them from practicing the fishing, which they depend for living.
