Al-Ezzi: Direct passage of all commercial ships to ports of Hodeida is a step in the right direction

The National Salvation government announced the arrival of commercial ships directly to Hodeida port, western Yemen, stressing the need to cancel the UN Verification and Inspection Mechanism (UNVIM).

“Insufficient Glimmer of Hope. The direct passage of all commercial ships to the ports of Hodeida – without detention or delay – is an initial step in the right direction, ” Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Ezzi tweeted.

“This step must be strengthened and expanded through abolishing UNVIM,” he said.

Al-Ezzi called on everyone to more positive action and joint determination to enhance the chances of peace.
