Sanaa cuts wheat sale price in local markets

An Office of Industry and Trade in the capital, Sanaa, announced on Saturday a new cut in the prices of wheat and flour inside the local markets.

The office affirmed in a statement that the price of flour for wholesalers had been reduced from 17,000 riyals to 16,300 riyals per bag (50 kg).

The statement indicated that the price from Hodeida had decreased to 15,500 riyals, calling on grocery and restaurant owners to adhere to the specified prices and weights, and not to deal with violating bakeries that manipulate weights so that they are not subject to legal accountability.
