Omani Delegation Leaves Sana’a after Discussing Efforts to Bring Peace with Yemen

Omani delegation left the capital Sana’a on Sunday accompanied by the head of the National Delegation Mohammad Abdulsalam, after a visit that lasted for days.

During the visit that started last Tuesday, the delegation of Oman met with President Mahdi Al-Mashat. The efforts exerted by the brothers in Oman, regarding the peace path, were discussed and views were exchanged on it.

Earlier, the head of the National Delegation Mohammed Abdulsalam stated that the visit of the Omani delegation comes, at this stage, as a continuation of the recent meetings, after conveying many messages.

He stressed that the popular voice has a very significant impact on the course of the political situation and the outcome of the negotiations. He pointed out that the humanitarian situation is at the forefront of the political and negotiating issue.

He pointed out that Oman is making commendable efforts with international parties to achieve security and peace in Yemen.

He pointed out that “the intensive visits between Sana’a and Muscat reflect our seriousness in reaching achievable steps,” considering that the issue is due to the extent of the seriousness of the US-Saudi aggression party.

It should be noted that the visit of the Omani delegation comes a few days after major marches took place in the capital Sana’a and 13 governorates under the slogan “Siege is war”. The popular masses declared their mandate to the leadership to take what is necessary to deter aggression and lift the siege.
