Discussing coordination between Humanitarian Affairs Council in Ibb & World Food Program
A meeting in Ibb province headed by the Secretary-General of the local council of the province, Amin Al-Warafi, discussed aspects of coordination between the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management, Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and the office of the World Food Program, to alleviate the suffering of the displaced and affected people in the province.
The meeting, which included the directors of the Humanitarian Affairs Council branch in the province, Abd al-Rahman al-Arjali, the health office, Dr. Abdullah al-Samawi, and the World Food Program in Sana’a, Zainab al-Khudairi, reviewed the treatments that ensure the disbursement of food rations to the affected and displaced people in the province during the current year, and the food aid that was disbursed to them during the past year. 2022 AD.
Al-Warafi affirmed the readiness of the local authority’s leadership in the province to facilitate the implementation of the activities and interventions of the program at the province and district levels.
In turn, Al-Khudairi appreciated the facilities provided by the local authority’s leadership and the branch of the Humanitarian Affairs Council in Ibb to implement the activities and interventions of the program, stressing the program’s keenness to strengthen partnership and coordination with the relevant authorities in order to serve the targeted.
For his part, the director of the Humanitarian Affairs Council branch in Ibb expressed his keenness to address the problems to ensure that the food ration is not delayed and disbursed to the beneficiaries on time, taking into account their difficult living conditions in light of the continued aggression and siege.
