Cold weather to hit several Yemeni provinces within coming hours

The National Meteorological Center said on Friday that  relatively cold weather is expected to hit five Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The center reported in its weather bulletin that it is likely to be cold and dry in the governorates of Dhamar, Amran, Sanaa, Saada and Bayda, and cold and relatively humid in the highlands of the governorates of Shabwa, Abyan, Lahj, Ibb and Dhalea.

The center pointed out that the minimum temperatures in those provinces will range between three to nine degrees Celsius.

It warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers during the night and early morning, to take the necessary precautions to preserve their health from the cold weather.
