US: Death toll of Hurricane Ian rise to 77

At least 77 people have been killed by Hurricane Ian, Florida, US, NBC TV announced.

According to NBC TV, the deaths of 77 Florida residents have been officially confirmed. Search and rescue operations continue.

Hurricane Ian, which hit Florida, caused power outages for about 2.6 million homes.

US President Joe Biden issued a “disaster declaration” in Florida to provide assistance to areas stricken by the federal budget.
