13 people including children, killed in Russian school shooting
The Russian Interior Ministry confirmed that 13 people, including children, were killed and 20 others injured in a shooting incident at a school in the Russian city of Izhevsk, in which the man who shot at the school committed suicide.
The governor of Udmurtia, Alexander Brechalov, had earlier stated that the shooting had injured 3 people, including two children and a security guard, while the school principal and one of the wounded teenagers were able to close the door on herself in the office.
But the interior ministry of the Russian Udmurtia Republic said in its latest statement that the death toll had risen to 13, including children between the ages of 7 and 16.
The Republic of Udmurtia has announced three days of mourning from September 26-29 over the deadly shooting accident.
