Blast targets Iraqi telecommunications company Earthlink in Baghdad
An improvised explosive device exploded in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, Iraqi media reported citing security source on Monday.
According to the Alsumaria News, a homemade explosive device blew up near the Iraqi telecommunications company Earthlink building within the Al-Arsat in Karrada, central Baghdad.
The explosion did not result in injuries but damaged a wall in the targeted building, the sources said.
The security forces cordoned off the site and opened an investigation into the incident.
