Spokesman for the Supreme Council for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Sanaa, Talaat Al-Sharjabi, said on Thursday revealed the start of new negotiations regarding the opening of Taiz roads.
Al-Sharjabi said that the Salvation Government is working for the second week in a row to urge the parties taking control of Taiz, in reference to Islah Party, in order to open the 50th – Al-Nour Road.
He stressed at the same time that they received local initiatives by personalities and dignitaries, but these initiatives collide with what he described as the “arrogance and stubbornness” of the parties that do not want to open the roads in Taiz.
The Islah factions had obstructed the operation of paving the road by targeting the operation militarily.
