Citizen & 2children injured by mine and bomb explosion in Hodeida, Sana’a

A citizen and 2 children in Hodeida and Sana’a were seriously injured as a result of a mine and a cluster bomb explosion left over from the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition.

The Executive Center for Mine Action said in a statement received on Thursday by Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the citizen sustained various injuries while carrying out his daily work on his farm in Al-Tuhayta district, Al-Hodeida province, while the 2 children were injured as a result of a cluster bomb explosion from the remnants of the air strikes in Al-Hanahat area, Nihm district. Sana’a province.

The Center indicated in its statement that despite the high casualties of mines and remnants of aggression during the humanitarian truce in many provinces, the file of war remnants and cluster bombs was not included in the treatments.

The Center attributed in its statement the reason to survey devices lack and equipment required to purify the infested areas, as a result of preventing their entry by the aggression coalition.
