Forecasters expect rainfall on several provinces

The National Center of Meteorology expected more rainfall with thunderstorms in several Yemeni provinces within coming 24 hours.

The center affirmed, in its weather bulletin, that the rains would prevail over separate areas of the western mountainous provinces, especially on Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Dhalea, Riymah, Mahweet, Hajjah, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada.

It indicated that the weather expected to be warm in the deserts of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Marib, Jawf and Saada, with maximum temperatures ranging between 39-45 degrees Celsius.
“The weather may also be hot and humid on the Socotra archipelago and all coastal areas, with temperatures ranging between 33 and 37 degrees Celsius.”

The center warned citizens in areas where rain expected from the flow of torrents in water ways and valleys, as well as vehicle drivers on mountainous roads from low horizontal visibility.
