General al-Razzami describes Amman’s negotiations on road openings as positive
The Head of the National Military Committee of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’ a General Yahya Abdullah al-Razzami, described the negotiations and consultations held in the Jordanian capital Amman to open the lines as positive.
General al-Razzami said at a press conference held on Wednesday at Sana ‘a airport upon his return and members of the National Military Committee to Sana’ a from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan “The negotiations were positive and we came out with the opening of three routes ” al-Shurejah-Karsh-Al-Rahida and Al-Zaylaie-Al-Suraimi-Aba’ar and Air Defense-al-Khamseen-al-Siteen “, Which was an initiative on our part from the first day, but the other party wanted to delay what we had proposed and wanted more from us.
He added, “There are proposals put forward by the United Nations that we will discuss with the leadership in Sana’a and we will return to complete the remaining initiatives, and we are ready with the initiative that we took if we see from the other side the seriousness and acceptance of what was proposed of these initiatives, and we are also ready for what is greater according to the leadership’s directives.”
General al-Razzami also asserted that the National Military Committee had negotiated for an entire people based on its carrying of peace rather than surrender.
On May 22, the Military Committee went to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under the direction of the revolution’s leader, Sayyed. Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, His Excellency Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, to stabilize the truce and open roads.
