Military source: 5,655 violations of UN armistice committed by coalition within 55 days

The Saudi-led coalition forces continued to violate the humanitarian and military truce in Yemen under the auspices of the United Nations for the 55 consecutive day, bringing the total of violations to 5,655.

A military source in Sanaa confirmed that during the past 24 hours, the coalition forces committed 75 violations, including 30 violations by flight of armed and spying reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of  Marib, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Taiz, Bayda and Dhalea provinces and the the border fronts.

He confirmed that the mercenaries of the aggression established combat fortifications in the vicinity of the city of Marib.

The official pointed out that 14 violations were recorded with artillery shelling as the mercenaries of the aggression targeted the sites of the army and committees in al-Balaq al-Sharqi, Mala’a, al-Rawdah and Rawdat Jahannam areas in Marib and west of Haradh and Bani Hassan areas in Hajjah.

He indicated that the mercenaries of the aggression targeted, with intense artillery shelling, the houses of citizens in Sheda district, and the sites of the army and the popular committees in al-Malahidh and al-Kamb areas in Saada.

The mercenaries of the aggression also targeted, with artillery, the sites of the army and the committees in Tabat Kamel and al-Amoud zones in Wadi Jarah areas in Jizan region.

The official stated that 30 violations were recorded by shooting at the homes of citizens and the sites of the army and the popular committees in Marib, Saada, Hajjah, Taiz, and the fronts beyond the border.
