UN allows its oil ship to enter Hodeida port
The United Nations allowed on Monday one of its oil ships to enter an the port of Hodeida.
A spokesman for the Yemeni Oil Company, Issam Al-Mutawakel, said that the UN ship “Mleiha”, carrying 4,222 tons of diesel, arrived at the port.
He explained “that the entry of the UN oil ship to the port of Hodeida comes while the forces of the US-backed Saudi-Emirati coalition continue to detain the emergency gasoline ship “Caesar” off the coast of Jizan, in constant disregard for the human suffering experienced by the Yemeni people.
The coalition has escalated its siege and prevented the entry of oil derivatives recently, causing a suffocating crisis in the capital, Sanaa, and the rest of the provinces.
