Foreign, Human Rights Ministries Condemn Mass Executions by Saudi Regime

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated in a statement, Sunday, that targeting prisoners is a war crime that contradicts all humanitarian laws, norms and values, and at the same time is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

It pointed out that this crime is not the first, committed by the regimes of US-Saudi aggression and their tools against the prisoners of Yemen, as crimes have previously been committed against them in Aden, Taiz, Al-Hodeidah and Marib.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community, the Security Council, the Human Rights Council and others, to condemn this crime and to pressure Saudi Arabia to respect its obligations under international humanitarian law.

It stated in a statement, Sunday, that the Yemeni prisoners, who were included in the execution, including the prisoner exchange issues under the supervision of the United Nations.

The Ministry of Human Rights considered the mass killing and horrific massacre of a number of Qatif and Yemenis by the Saudi authorities, as a criminal act and a catastrophe against humanity, as it is outside the mouth of the law.

The Ministry also confirmed its categorical rejection of the takfiri Wahhabi mentality, and the method adopted by the Saudi regime, and its penetration day after day of hatred and thirst for the blood of civilians

It called on all organizations, peoples of the world and free countries to take a free stance rejecting the crimes of the Saudi regime and condemning this crime, which touched humanity without fear.

It called on the international community, led by the UN and its organizations, and the world to assume responsibility for protecting civilians, in accordance with the principles and rules of humanity stipulated in international conventions.

The Ministry of Human Rights held the international community, Security Council and Human Rights Council, and the world responsible for the crimes and violations of the Saudi regime.

It also called for condemning this crime and holding the Saudi regime accountable with all its powers, in accordance with international laws, treaties and agreements
