Mass Rallies in Various Yemeni Provinces Denouncing US Blockade of Fuel Ships
Hundreds of thousands of Yemenis in all provinces on Monday staged mass marches bearing the slogan “Blockade of Fuel is an American Decision, Hurricane of Yemen Op. is Our Choice.” The rallies took place in more than 20 places including Hajjah, Rayma, Dhamar, Ibb, Al-Baidha, Taiz, Al-Jawf, Amran, Al-Dhalea and Sa’adah, denouncing the siege on Yemen and preventing the arrival of fuel ships.
In Sa’adah, the participants in the march raised the Yemeni flags and slogans of freedom. They chanted slogans condemning the blockade, the US-Saudi aggression on Yemen and preventing the entry of fuel ships.
The demonstrators denounced the silence of the United Nations towards the criminal practices of the coalition of aggression against the Yemeni people. They called for mobilization to the fronts to respond to the aggressors and confront the escalation with escalation.
The statement of the Sa’adah march held the US responsible for the siege of the Yemeni people, stressing the importance of confronting it with mobilization. It asserted that the blockade of fuel ships and preventing them from Yemenis is an American aggression, and confronting it is a legitimate duty.
The statement stressed that closing the port of Hodeidah is a well-known war crime, holding the international community and the United Nations responsible for being silent about this crime.
The statement held the Saudi-led aggression in Dhamar responsible for the continuation of maritime piracy and the detention of fuel ships.
It stressed that the only way to end the suffering of the Yemeni people is to liberate Yemen from the invaders and occupiers, to make the “Yemen Hurricane” Op successful, and to mobilize and supply the fronts with men and money until victory.
The participants in mass rally in Taiz governorate indicated that the arbitrary practices of the US-Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people, including targeting civilians and the suffocating siege, will be faced with escalation through supporting the Yemen Hurricane Op.
The Secretary-General of the local council in Hajjah governorate, Ismail Al-Muhaim, in the presence of the judiciary, directors of executive offices, members of the local council, and social, educational, health and cultural figures, indicated that the US-Saudi aggression is using the economic card to subdue the Yemeni people.
He praised the stances of the people of Hajjah in defending the homeland, its security and stability, stressing the importance of responsible interaction with the campaign to enhance steadfastness in the face of US-Saudi aggression.
The governor of Amran, Dr. Faisal Jaman, stressed that the crimes and violations of US-Saudi aggression will not undermine the determination and steadfastness of our people, but rather increase their strength and solidity in the face of the aggression.
He pointed out that the aggression countries deliberately detaining fuel ships threatens to cause a humanitarian catastrophe for the Yemeni people in view of the interruption of the health, water, sanitation, agricultural and other sectors.
